Angelo's is the best!! My family has been getting our hair done here for years. I have (sadly) moved away, but got to have Angelo do my hair when I was home last month!!!

This was my first time visiting Angelo's hair Design after many years passing by through my life. I bought a Amazon voucher for myself to get a new hair style and Highlights. My Appt. was with Charra who was a complete doll. I am so happy with the eay my hair turned out and looks. She is truely a Professional Hair Stylist who I want to thank for making my hair look wonderful. She is so personal, I usally don't talk while getting my hair cut, but she was so fun to talk with and it never destracted her from doing a High Stylle hair cut and highlights. The atmosphere was totally laid back, not like some places where you would be intimitated to just walk in. I have gotten so many compliments on my "New Hair Doo". The Business ids family owned and i felt great supporting an establishment like that. In these hard days in the economy, I feel, it is important tos support local, Family owned businesses. People have said that the Studio needs to be updated, but for me that really doesn't matter, It's the results that count. The Studio has been there from as long as I can remember, so Yea, Maybe it's not as updated as some of the High end Salon's out there. I want to truely thank Charra(I hope I am spelling her name correctly) and Angelo who is the owner for giving me a new look, which I feel is Fabulous. Charra can cut my hair anytime, and Im sure I will be returning to get my next Hair cut/Highlights, She could be in a "High end salon" if she wanted too, but I hope she stays right where she is. She has a talent and expertise like no other & want to truely thank her for such an amazing job! I Just Love my new hair! She has an amazing heart to go along with her extreme talent. I will definately recommend her to all that I know. Thank You Charra for the amazing experience!

I have gone to Angelo's Hair Design for more years than I can remember. Nydia is the only stylist on the planet that I trust. She is super efficient and has me in and out in about an hour. All of the staff and Angelo are friendly and professional. - Theresa E Berger

I went in w/ a voucher that I purchased thru Amazon (local) deals for a $25 cut and color normal price is $ 50. The stylist Kora was very friendly. I got the cut (nothing more than a trim & a few layers) it was spot on to my liking, color was a bit darker than I wanted but I can't complain because it turned out nice. The place is very retro looking (old hair dryer chair) it needs a Tabitha (takes over show) makeover. I decided to get a pedi as well as my eyebrows waxed. My feet were done in at home foot pedi spa thing-the lady was nice & my feet looked good afterwards. As for the wax, I had to sit in the chair where your hair gets washed. The salon seems to mostly cater older women. When I asked for a streak of color, Kora (the stylist) said they didn't do it. Its ashame because with that they could cater to a wider range of women. The only thing I can say I didn't like was that online they post they do hair by appointments only. On the door sign posted they welcomed walk-ins. The receptionist was a bit rude (I guess its due to age) I just ignored her comment. Other than that its really not a bad salon. They know what they're doing, the salon just simply needs to be brought into the 21st century.

I've been coming to Angelo's for 10yrs+ and I've been pleased in every aspect. Their extremely friendly just like family. My hair stylist Nydia transformed my hair from extremely short and severely damaged to healthy, full bodied, vibrant long flowing hair. I would not think twice about going to another salon. I highly recommend Nydia and all the services this salon has to offer.

I highly recommend Angelo's, specifically because of Nydia. She's been cutting my hair for a couple of years now, and she's great. I used to go in just to get my shoulder-length hair trimmed, no big deal, and I liked the place because it's very affordable and it's down-to-earth, which is important to me. I can't stand uptight salons -- they make me feel afraid to ask for what I want. This is a modest, neighborhood place and the people are pretty friendly.

Eventually I decided I wanted to get a shorter cut than I've ever had, which I was a bit nervous about, but Nydia gave me the most gorgeous cut. She asked to see pictures so I brought in a handful of photos of women with the punk-pixie hair I wanted, and she kind of combined the looks and improvised based on my hair type and the shape of my hairline. I couldn't be happier with this haircut. I've gotten compliments on it from all my friends and some strangers, too! Nydia is one of those great stylists who is happy to do something basic and unexciting if that's what you want, but she's a real artist, too.

For folks interested in the salon as first timers -- there are white women as well as people of color on staff and as customers. I'm a white person and have been really happy with my hair, but they do more than just white-people hair.
